Overview
Gatlinburg fire claimed this property and it was a total loss. Club Chalet hired Joseph to rebuild this wood framed 3-story structure.

Exterior
This project was on a very tight site with very little area to work within. Joseph helped the owners in the design to achieve modern building codes, adding an elevator, handicap ramps, and a fire sprinkler system.

Overcoming Obstacles
During the early part of demolition, Joseph discovered the elevator would be located was on Granite rock. The rock removal was extremely difficult because of codes in Gatlinburg. Because of the weight limits of a privately owned bridge, Joseph could not use a large track hoe machine and was required to use a much smaller one to accomplish the removal.
